Starke is a professional customized fabric manufacturer and supplier, integrating production and international trade. Founded in 2008, we specialize in garment textile fabrics, with a strong focus on knitted and bonded materials.

Located in Shaoxing, Zhejiang, China, we operate a self-owned industrial site of about 20,000 m², including 4,000–5,000 m² of workshops. Our facility is equipped with 100 circular knitting machines, 4 composite production lines and 8 inspection lines, allowing us to control key production stages in-house.

With stable capacity and flexible customization, we serve global apparel brands, garment factories, and intermediaries in outdoor, sportswear, fashion, and casual markets.

integrated manufacturing capability

We operate with an integrated production model combining long-term partner factories and in-house processing. Greige fabrics are sourced from stable knitting mills, while dyeing and finishing are handled by qualified partner factories.

Key processes such as bonding and final inspection are completed in our own facility using two composite production lines. This model shortens lead times and improves quality consistency.

Our monthly capacity includes about 600,000 meters of knitted fabric, 300,000 meters of woven fabric, and 500,000 meters of bonded fabric. We support OEM customization in fiber content, weight, width, color, density, and finishing processes.

our production process

1. Raw Material Preparation

We select suitable fibers and yarns based on end use. Common fibers include cotton, wool, silk, linen, polyester, nylon, acrylic, and spandex. Yarns are staple or filament.

Yarns are formed into fabric using knitting machines. Weft knitting offers softness and elasticity. Warp knitting provides stability and high efficiency.

Unfinished greige fabric is inspected. We check for holes, stains, color variation, dropped stitches, and other visible defects before further processing.

Greige fabric is cleaned to remove impurities. Processes include desizing, scouring, bleaching, and mercerizing for cotton to improve whiteness and absorbency.

Fabric is colored or patterned. Dyeing creates solid colors through immersion. Printing applies color locally to form specific designs and patterns.

Finishing improves hand feel, appearance, and function. Processes include brushing, napping, shearing, anti-pilling, embossing, and functional treatments like waterproof or moisture-wicking.

Fabric is heat-set for dimensional stability and width control. Final inspection, grading, packing, and warehousing are completed before shipment.

quality control & Fabric Inspection

Quality control is embedded throughout our entire production process. For key programs, we implement 100% inspection using four inspection lines. Detailed inspection reports are provided before shipment to ensure transparency and consistency.

Starke operates a dedicated in-house laboratory equipped with professional testing equipment to ensure each product meets customer and international standards. These tools allow us to control critical performance indicators for outdoor, sports, and fashion fabrics.

Starke’s commitment to quality and sustainability is supported by internationally recognized certifications. We hold HIGG Index, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, and GRS certifications, helping customers meet environmental and safety requirements.

Documentation and test reports are prepared according to customer needs, especially for the European, US, and Japanese markets. These certifications allow us to support products requiring traceability, recycled content verification, and chemical safety compliance.

Global Market Reach & Partnerships

Our fabrics are exported to the United Kingdom, the United States, Japan, Taiwan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Turkey, and many other global markets. We serve diverse customers, including outdoor and sportswear brands, fast-fashion labels, and supermarket supply chains.

Over the years, we have worked with demanding international clients such as British and German apparel brands, large garment factories in Bangladesh and Vietnam, and major retailers including ALDI. Through Taiwan intermediaries, our fabrics have also been used by high-end fashion brands, with end clients including BURBERRY.

In 2012, we were appointed as a designated fabric supplier for apparel brands serving the London Olympic Games, significantly strengthening our global recognition.
